Another pain with AJAX (or flash) is the ability to track calls from XHR objects. This inevitability stops webmasters from effectively find bottle necks and stumbling points for users. It's this problem that I was faced with this morning.

Thanks to it's extensability, developing in Firefox is a pleasure. Extensions as Chris Pederick's excellent Web Developer Toolbar make life so much the sweeter. With a little javascript know-how it is possible to add some of these features into IE. Hopefully this tutorial will start you on your way to IE bliss stem the MS rage. Read it now »
